Plaid Poncho

Happy Friday friends!!! AND HAPPY 2018 (check out my ode to 2017 here if you missed it)!!!! We are going to talk about this gorgeous plaid poncho in today’s post!

Have you ever been so excited for the weekend that you cannot stop smiling? Either that or I’ve had too much caffeine. I have gotten into this bad habit of filling my Nalgene water bottle with pre-workout each morning.

Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms.

So I am extra excited for the weekend because it is warm at my place. You know where it’s not warm? At work, with the heat broken all week. I literally have not taken off my hat, scarf or coat all day this week. If I were running the place, I would send everyone home. But that’s just me being reasonable and logical.

Anyways, how cute is this plaid poncho by Theory!? It was a $50 TJ Maxx find last year! It felt very adult when I purchased it, know what a flattering and classic piece it is. I will say, this is only of the only things I feel okay wearing with over the knee boots to work. I think the poncho makes the over the knee boot work acceptable. Unfortunately mine is no longer available but I have linked some super cute options!

Ponchos are great because you can wear them from work to weekend. This would be great with ankle booties or mules as well. They are super comfortable, but happen to also look classy.

I am heading out for my usual Friday lunch run to Starbucks! I have a Friday ritual of going to Starbucks, and it always makes Fridays more exciting to grab a fancy latte. Starbucks coffee just always makes for a better day!
