An Ode to 2017

Cheers to you 2017!!! It’s been one heck of a year to say the least, so here’s my ode to 2017. Hope everyone has a great NYE!!!!

An Ode to 2017 Highlights

January 3 – Finding our little stray 2 pound kitten, Scarlett, sitting right outside our front door. It was such cold and stormy night and I am so happy we were able to rescue this little princess. She is the love of our lives! She was only 2 lbs the day we took her to the vet, so she weighed even less when we found her. The vet said she was 6 weeks old. She must have gotten separated from her mother in the storm that night!

April 22 – Getting married to my incredible husband! We had the best small wedding and it turned out amazing after a year of planning!

June 23 – Renewing my first year long lease ever! I was seriously excited to stay put for once instead of move!

July 27 – StyledJen was born – first insta post!!! I am so happy I went for it and followed my dream.

November 1 – Starting a new job as a manager.

Places I’ve Visited

Juarez, Mexico – I went here for work and it was pretty neat to see.

St. Lucia – We went on our honeymoon here and it was unbelievable!

San Fransisco / Napa/Sonoma – We immediately jetted here for a second week of our honeymoon and it was the best decision. It was perfect to experience the beach for a week and then wine country. Plus the food in San Fran is the best!
