Leather Bomber Jacket Trend

Today I am talking all about the leather bomber jacket trend, one of my favorite fall trends this year! If you’ve been reading my wish list posts this fall, you know I absolutely love this years trends for the season (check out my October wishlist here). There are so many classic styles trending, and I love the popularity of Americana fashion right now.

I found the most perfect women’s leather bomber jacket from The Jacket Maker that I wore when we visited Maine. I wanted a quality leather bomber that was warm enough to bring to Maine, at a reasonable price point. This jacket is perfect because it is lined on the inside and warm enough for chilly autumn days. I was super impressed when this jacket arrived in the mail because it smelled strongly of the most amazing leather. There are few things that make me happier than the smell of luxurious leather on a chilly fall day.

The reason I am loving the leather bomber jacket trend, is because it’s the perfect contrast of masculine style that just fits perfectly in the autumn season. I paired it below with a preppy flag sweater and leggings for a day of walking and exploring. This jacket was super comfortable to wear out and about all day!

Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms.

I also wore this jacket to dinner and I love the way it looks with a turtleneck. One thing to note about sizing, is that this runs small. I normally wear a XS and I sized up to a medium in this jacket. The medium fits perfectly with a light sweater, but I would need a size large for a thick sweater. If you like an oversized look, size up.
