I hope everyone is having a fantastic week! I cannot believe we are near the end of October, seriously, where has the time gone this year!

I am super passionate about small businesses and their entrepreneurs, and love working with them and couldn’t be more excited to show you some of their tortoise pieces today in my Susan Shaw jewelry October picks post!

Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms.

I wanted to find some jewelry that was perfect for casual looks. I am normally in a stylish, but casual outfit and I love pairing new and fun jewelry to spice up my outfits. Susan Shaw’s tortoise pieces are amazing because they go with basically anything!

The outfit I am wearing here, is one I wear to work and out on the weekend. I love camo and I LOVE denim. This simple necklace and earrings adds to the outfit without making it over the top since I already have a bold pattern on top and an interesting bottom.

About the Brand

Susan Shaw is a family owned business that’s been designing and hand making jewelry in San Antonio, Texas, for over 35 years (founded by Susan Shaw herself). Susan Shaw was originally a wholesale jewelry company, and they have recently expanded to sell directly to customers via their website. Their jewelry currently is sold in over 2,000 boutiques in 14 different counties, and in every single state!

Susan Shaw makes all of her original metal pieces from handmade molds and then casts them as well. All of the gold used is hand-cast 24kt gold plated, based in the United States. All of their base metals are lead-free and nickel-free and they use real cultured pearls, and all real semi-precious stones.

I wanted to show a slightly more dressy outfit with the tortoise pieces to show off their versatility! Although this romper can be casual, I made it more dressy with a cream sweater and hat. The Susan Shaw necklace balances out the deep neckline and looks perfect with this outfit!
