Spring Outfit Ideas

It’s finally starting to warm up in Dallas and I am so excited to transition to warm weather clothes! We haven’t had a warm weekend yet, but I think this weekend will finally warm up. Sharing some spring outfit ideas and inspiration today! There is nothing I love more than spring and fall. I get so inspired by new seasonal styles and it just rejuvenates any style rut I am in! By the end of winter, I felt like I was in such a style rut, so I definitely welcome a new season with new trends.

I have always enjoyed a colorful wardrobe, so although fall is my favorite season, spring fashion just really gets me. Last year the big trend was Coastal Grandmother, and that will continue this year. During recession periods, I think we see more “classics” and that is a huge reason Ralph Lauren and classic American brands have gained a lot of traction again. Sprinkled into the Americana look, is the western look we’ve been seeing the last few years. This spring I think we’ll see lots of feminine dresses with western boots.

For my spring outfit ideas, I focused on colorful preppy pieces and casual styles with amazing accessories. I already purchased the New Balance sneakers shown in several outfits and they are well worth it and true to size. They are super comfortable and the pop of pink is cute! As for the denim shorts, they are pricey, but my all time favorite. I buy my normal size in them. They come in many different washes, and a longer length as well. I am 5’4″ and wear the regular length the most (I do own the longer version too).
