Saranghae Skincare

Saranghae means “I Love You” in Korean. I can’t wait to talk today all about my new Saranghae skincare routine! Revised and revamped thanks to Saranghae!

I always used a mix of products and never really had a routine. Saranghae skincare line completely changed that and allows me to easily complete a routine twice per day.

Saranghae reached out to me at the end of 2017, a point when my skin was really feeling the pain from constantly bad eating and tons of alcohol. I was desperate for something to help my skin at that point. My face was pretty dry from using so many peels and acne products. I have major issues when my face is dry because it’s also oily and a lot of lotions for dryness don’t mesh well with my oily skin. Good skincare products are hard to find, but I could not be more pleased with this line!

I am going to tell you below about their 5 Step Routine that is a breeze to follow and how I feel about each product below. If you missed my post on Winter beauty essentials, check it out here.

       

Step 1: Saranghae Nourishing & Moisturizing Oil + Foam Cleanser with Truffle Extract & Gold

If you’re a truffle fiend like myself you might be tempted to try this face wash. I literally write this as I am eating homemade popcorn cooked in truffle oil lol. This cleaner is actually oil based. I have never tried an oil cleanser before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. You are supposed to apply it to DRY skin first then add water to foam the cleanser. It took me some getting used to with apply to dry skin because I usually wet my face first. I am very impressed with how well this cleanser takes off makeup – even waterproof mascara which I never can seem to get rid of. What I love about it is the soft but clean feeling after without that tight dry skin feeling. I absolutely love this cleanser and it is my favorite of their products!

Step 2: Saranghae Deep Radiance Essence + Serum

This serum is designed to deliver antioxidants, amino acids and vitamins to your skin. What exactly are the benefits of that you might ask? The awesome thing about this serum is that it balances your moisture levels and pH level which in turn reduces inflammation and break outs. There are a ton more benefits listed on their website, but for me I am huge into controlling my adulthood acne. I must have bad karma because my skin is way worse now than when I was a teenager.

Along with the cleanser, this serum leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth – not tight and dry like a lot of serums do. For me the key to a good serum is how it dries. I don’t like applying lotion over top of a goopy sticky serum. This stuff is perfect because it dries quickly allowing you to move on to the next step.

Step 3: Saranghae Firm and Lift Cellular Regeneration Cream

I love this cream so much. It is designed to help diminish age spots, redness and visible signs of aging. And that it does! My skin is frequently red and inflamed from break outs (gross) and this cream works SO WELL at minimizing that redness. For me, the most important part of a cream is that it moisturizes without being all gross and oily. I have bangs so when I wake up in the morning and my bangs are oily from my moisturizer I get upset because I shower at night, not in the morning. And no one wants to go to work looking like they have ratchet hair. I love this cream because it actually dries but keeps your face sooooo soft. No hair getting stuck to your face with this cream!

Step 4: Saranghae Focus Renewal Eye Cream

The eye cream is so moisturizing without being sticky. It’s become an essential in my makeup routine because it helps under eye concealer set so well. My eye area has become a frequent area for dryness because of the peels I use (I need to stop getting so close to my eye!) and that skin is so thin that it become red and flaky easily. This eye cream has completely changed the game for me and helped super moisturize that area.

Step 5: Saranghae Elemental Essence Mask

This mask is designed to hydrate, rejuvenate and heal your skin. It is a sheet mask, so you unfold it and place it on your face. I love this versus something you rub on your face because I often find myself scrubbing the mask off after, which just irritates me and my towels. You can kick back and chill for 20 minutes while leaving the mask on. After removal there is no need to wash anything off, which makes this mask ideal for situations like traveling.
