Plaid for the Holidays

Is there anything more festive than plaid for the holidays?! Sharing a bunch of plaid inspo today!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I am sooo sad Thanksgiving is over but happy that at least the holiday festivities don’t have to end yet! This time of year is just the best!! I don’t think I appreciated it so much until I started working. I love how the office slows down a little this time of year and things are on hold because so many people are taking vacation time.

Plaid is one of my favorite prints for fall and winter and there are endless festive styling option with plaid any time of year and plaid for the holidays. I wanted to show some of the plaid outfits I’ve been wearing and loving lately that I think could make great holiday options! Pink Lily Poncho

I wore this plaid poncho in Denver for Thanksgiving because I wanted to be comfortable and casual, but also cute! I love the look of ponchos with over the knee boots because they just created this slimming effect.

Plaid Top with Fur Vest

I love so many things about this look! First of all, I love plaid with faux fur for a festive chic look. This plaid top is under $40 and comes in so many different colors. I am wearing XS for reference but could have sized up to a small in case it shrinks. I also bought these boots in black because I love them that much. They are the perfect boots to wear with skirts and dresses and are so comfortable. For an extra festive look, add a red lip and shimmer! I am loving my new Charlotte Tilbury lip color and highlighter.

Express Sweater

I got to work on a really cool project with Express to create holiday outfits for Pinterest! This is one of the outfits I put together and it’s on sale right now! I love how fuzzy the plaid sweater is. I am wearing small for reference, for an oversized off the shoulder fit. The faux leather leggings run a little small, I am wearing XS but could have gone up to a small.
