Palm Beach Weekend Trip

We went on our first Palm Beach weekend trip and I have decided I am moving to Palm Beach when I am rich and/or retired, whatever comes first lol. Palm Beach makes almost every city look like a dump in comparison. My husband and I were amazed at the attention to detail throughout the city, the landscaping was gorgeous! It is definitely the first Palm Beach weekend trip of many!

Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms.

One of my goals this year is to explore Florida to the max. My favorite part about moving to new states is being able to do road trips to the surrounding areas. Florida definitely has A TON to do and it’ll definitely keep us busy while living here. I am very happy to check Palm Beach off my bucket list and want to share all the fun things we did there if you are planning a weekend! Check out my Orlando trip here.

Where to Stay

If you are looking at Palm Beach and West Palm you’ll notice a MAJOR price difference. West Palm is just a couple miles away and way cheaper, so we stayed there near the airport. We also stay in Hiltons often because of my husband’s status there (he travels a lot for work) so we stayed near the airport.

Where to Eat

We ended up loving where we ate SO much. I use Yelp for everything and found some high rated restaurants on there.

Malakor Thai had amazing Thai and sushi! The plants hanging outside were so beautiful and I got a lovely orchid photo (keep scrolling to see it!). It is super casual so you can dress up or keep it low key. We called for reservation.

We went to Loic bakery TWICE! It was that good. We sampled just about everything there, and I cannot pick a favorite. Their croissants were insane, especially the white chocolate and pistachio. Their focaccia bread was also to die for. We spent $60 on bread to go before we left and went back to Tampa. The bread had truffle oil on it and was just the most delicious thing in the world.

Restoration Hardware surprisingly had the most incredible food. I was expecting good, but not exceptional and it was exceptional. My husband’s slow cooked chicken was out of this world and my lobster roll was equally as good. The atmosphere just added to the amazing food experience and we keep talking about going back just to eat there!

We just got drinks at the Colony Hotel, because it is gorgeous there! I can’t speak to the food, but the drinks were amazing.

Where to take Photos

I used Caitlin’s guide here to plan my photos.

I carried my Petit Blue bag a lot (used it in Orlando too!) because it is such a nice travel bag. It is very light and I love the crossbody feature!

I clearly cannot get enough of this door, I mean look at these flowers! If this isn’t the most instagrammable spot in the world, I don’t know what is.

Restoration Hardware was also awesome to visit and surprisingly had some of our favorite food ever.

Tip: get photos here early before the traffic comes. We got here around 9am and it was starting to get busier. We also had to use a cell phone for the shot because our camera lens could not capture everything.

The photo above was taken at our fave Thai restaurant. The orchids were so gorgeous!
