The beginning of the best time of year is here and it begins with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale always kicks off the best time of year and I am soooo excited that we are just at the beginning of all the wonderful things like fall and the holidays – and best of all: FALL FASHION! If you live and die for fall fashion, you totally get what I mean! Below is my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 try on and there’s so much great stuff!

Without further ado, here is my official Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 try on. We’ll start with the shoes (my favorite part of any sale)!
Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms.

These boots fit TTS, I got my normal 7.5 They fit perfect around the leg and have a lot of stretch. Sometimes I have an issue with over the knee boots being big around my legs, but these are tight and fit great! I love the color for fall. I am thinking they will pair great with oversized plaid flannels.

My favorite Nordstrom Anniversary sale purchase tied with the Steve Madden boots!! I love these classic ankle boots in the most versatile color! They fit true to size.

Blanknyc makes some amazing faux leather jackets and I had to show this one for the beautiful color. It is a size medium so it did not come home with me. Generally Blanknyc runs on the smaller size for jackets, so many people size up. Normally I have always gotten my normal XS in Blanknyc jackets, but cannot wear more than a t-shirt under.
I paired with the perfect pair of jeans to wear with booties. I am 5’4″ and they are perfectly cropped!

Little jackets are definitely a staple for me during the fall. This one is a size small and has room, so I say it fits true to size. The tee underneath is the softest thing ever and is under $20 on sale!

The color of this jacket is so pretty! It comes in a gorgeous olive sage shade too. I am wearing my normal XS and there is plenty of room.

I love this classic moto jacket, it has some weight so it can carry you into cooler weather. Topshop tends to run smaller, so I typically wear a 4 and that’s what I am wearing here.

The dreamiest cardigan ever! Seriously you need to feel the material if you haven’t! They run true to size and are worth every penny.

Year after year, this is the first piece that sells out. I was lucky enough to be able to try on the last one in a medium. I didn’t bring home since these fit true to size and this was quite big.

I tried this on first and absolutely love the fit! It was so unexpected because it’s doesn’t look like anything special online but looks great on. It fits true to size.

Below are some things I already own from past Anniversary sales so that you can see how they fit.
Size up in the plaid, they shrink a lot in the wash. I am wearing a small but I actually might get a medium next time for a bigger fit. The Patagonias are also tight, so I size up to a small.

Below are two moto jacket – one suede and one leather. The suede one runs slightly small, I am wearing my normal XS. If I re-purchased the jacket I think I would get a small this time so I could fit a sweater under. The leather jacket runs super small, I sized up from a 0 to a 6. It has been around for years though and is a true classic.

If you don’t have a pair of Spanx faux leather leggings, now is the time to buy. Size up, they run small! In the leggings on the right, they run TTS. I wore these on a 30+ hour Europe flight and they were super comfy!

Here are the open toe booties with a transitional outfit that you can wear right now! On the right are the sale booties with denim on sale. The denim run small, so size up. I am wearing a 26. I have these jeans in 4 colors and love them so much!

Here are the two Marc Fisher boots I got side by side. I am wearing an older suede skirt, but it’s very similar to the one on sale this year. Reviews say to size down, but I don’t like suede to be tight so I take my normal size.
