When it comes to clothes, I have A LOT! When it comes to jewelry, I keep it minimal. I wanted to round up my most worn jewelry because I truly think these pieces are amazing (since I wear them almost daily). I have this to store it in and it’s amazing and so worth the price. Typically, I wear the same stuff over and over, so when I buy something I know it will get a ton of use.
I love to mix affordable jewelry with higher end and old with new. My wrist stack usually includes bracelets from $20 to $700. My expensive pieces (Hermes bracelet and David Yurman bracelets) I have had for quite some time. I got my first Yurman piece in 2008 and still wear it almost daily! My most worn jewelry piece of all of the pieces has to be me 10+ year old David Yurman bracelet. When looking at a pricey piece such as jewelry or a bag, I always look at cost per wear. If I wear a $1000 necklace 1000 times, it’s a better buy than a $30 shirt I wear once. You basically divide the cost per estimated usage to find that number. Some of my newer pieces are the bracelets (found in my favorite May purchases here).
I think my biggest surprise was this under $20 bamboo initial necklace, that looks just like the very expensive Celine version. I have worn this necklace for 2 years and it still looks brand new, it’s so well made! Initial necklaces also make great gifts and this one is at an awesome price point! My next purchase will probably be a Chanel or Gucci necklace. I have been seeing a lot of cute designer costume jewelry trending and it’s making me want it!
