Lululemon Train To Be Review

Today I am doing a Lululemon Train To Be review! This is such a great basic for light or heavy workouts, so keep scrolling to read all about it!

If you want to read another great workout tank review, check out my Cool Racerback tank review here!

The Train To Be comes in a tank version and a tee version and ranges from $58 to $68. It is pricey, but it’s also something you can get marked down. I bought mine on discount (just know Lululemon sale items are final sale, so you need to know your size).

How To Wear

First up in my Lululemon Train To Be review is how to wear it! I wear my Train To Be tank and tee with high rise bottoms, like leggings and bike shorts. What I love about them is that they are slightly cropped, so they make your legs look really long with high rise bottoms. I am always a fan of wearing the right proportions and this top accentuates a petite body well!

Below I am wearing my Train to Be tee in Vivid Plum with Sonic Pink Speed up shorts (see the full review here) in Naples to grab lunch. It’s the perfect tee for a hot day since it’s so light!

Where To Wear

The tank and tee are the perfect lightweight material that can withstand a heavy workout. I love wearing these casually and to cycle, HIIT, yoga, and any sort of cardio.

Below you can see how I styled the tee version casually out to lunch (to grab tacos, of course). I wore this same outfit to HIIT last night, minus the accessories. My tee is in the cold Pink Puff, one of my favorite Lululemon pinks. My leggings are Invigorates in Dark Terracotta (see that full review here). I wear a size 4 in ALL their leggings.

Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ (currently 119 lbs) and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms. I typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms and a size 6 in Lululemon bras/tops.

Tee, Leggings, Sunglasses, Necklace (c/o), Earrings (c/o), Sneakers, Hat, Louis Vuitton Bag

Train To Be Sizing

I am a 32C and wear a size 6 in Lululemon bras (take their sizing quiz here.). Normally, I tend to wear a 6 in a lot of Lululemon tops and tanks, and the 6 fits perfect in both the tee and tank. I wouldn’t size down in these even though they are a loose fit. Below I am wearing a size 6 in Mulled Wine and Warm Coral. My leggings on the left are Mulled Wine and Cassis on the right.

Outfit Details:

Tank, Power Thru Leggings, Invigorate Leggings, Necklace, Sneakers, Slippers

Is The Train To Be Worth It?

Yes, these tanks and tees are worth it, even full price! These tanks and tees are so durable and light and my #1 favorite top to workout in at the moment. There are only a few things from Lululemon I would buy full price and this is one of them (I will also get Scuba hoodies and Invigorate leggings full price)! I did happen to buy mine on sale, but if a color comes out that I NEED, I won’t wait for a markdown. Just note that the good colors and popular sizes sell FAST once they are discounted.

I wore the Mulled Wine tank with Cassis leggings out to run some errands and loved the color combo!
