Today I am doing a Lululemon Ebb to Street tank review! I read lots of mixed reviews on sizing and wasn’t sure what size to get, so I wanted to share all the info!
If you want more Lululemon outfit ideas, check out my Define jacket review here.
The Ebb to Street tank comes in a regular version and a crop version and ranges from $58 to $68. It is pricey, but it’s also something you can get marked down. I bought mine on discount (just know Lululemon sale items are final sale, so you need to know your size). Both of them have built in cups and are intended for light support, aka you don’t need a bra with this!
First up in my Lululemon Ebb to Street tank review is how to wear it! I wear my Ebb to Street tank with high rise bottoms, like leggings and bike shorts. They are also amazing with zip-ups (like the Define jacket) and hoodies (like the Scuba hoodie). To lounge in, they are awesome with a high rise jogger. What I love about the crop version, is that with high rise bottoms, no skin shows! I am not the biggest fan of crop tops that show skin, so this makes me happy.
The Ebb to Street tank is technically designed for yoga but I wear for other light activity as well! I wear mine to do things like elliptical, cycle, weight lifting, yoga and out and about athleisure style. I do NOT wear for things like running, HIIT or anything intense!
Below, I am wearing the crop tank in Pink Taupe (size 4) with Invigorate leggings in Jubilee (size 4, see that full review here) and Groove flares in French Press (size 4).
Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ (currently 116 lbs) and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms. I typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms and a size 6 in Lululemon bras/tops.
Outfit Details:
The crop tank has sizes from 2-12 and the regular tank has sizes ranging from 2-14. I am a 32C and wear a size 6 in Lululemon bras (take their sizing quiz here.). Normally, I tend to wear a 6 in a lot of Lululemon tops and tanks, but the size 6 was too big on me in the regular tank (shown in the photos below). I bought a 4 in the crop tank and it fits great, but I would also be interested in comparing it to a size 6 in the future. I suspect the 6 will be too big in the crop since it’s too big in the regular tank.
Below, I am wearing the crop tank in Pink Taupe (size 4) with Invigorate leggings in Dark Terracotta (size 4) and the regular tank in Lavender Dew (size 6) with Invigorate leggings in Cassis (size 4).
Outfit Details:
In my opinion, this tank is only worth it on sale! I returned the regular length version, because there was SO much fabric (you can see how much it bunches up on me in the photo above). I know you can get Lululemon hemmed for free, but I decided not to do that because the size 6 was too big on me anyways. These tanks are a very flattering fit, but the fabric is unfortunately prone to snagging. For some reason the full length tank fabric felt even more delicate than the crop.
That said, I do like the overall fit of the crop version Ebb to Street better than the Align tanks! It just sucks that the fabric isn’t super durable. I will have to keep wearing my crop version to see how it holds up. So far no snags, but I have yet to wash it. This is something that I would want to wash in a garment bag to protect it from zippers etc.
I wore the crop version in Pink Taupe with Invigorate leggings in Jubilee (size 4) to run errands and I love how these colors look together! Pink Taupe definitely has some purple tones in it!
Outfit Details:
Tank, Leggings, Sunglasses, Necklace (c/o), Sneakers, Louis Vuitton Bag
