Today I am doing a Lululemon Define jacket review! I struggled figuring out what size to get, so I figured I would share all the info to help you!
If you want more Lululemon outfit ideas, check out my Lululemon try on here.
The Define jacket comes in 3 versions – regular, hooded and cropped. It comes in multiple fabrics and ranges from $118 to $128. The one I have is a regular non-hooded version in a Luon fabric. I prefer the Luon fabric Define jackets over the Nulu. While Nulu is incredibly soft and comfortable, it can pill over time. I have heard a fabric shaver helps with this, but I haven’t tried one myself. It is a pricey zip-up, but they do get marked down. I got mine on sale and have no regrets (just know Lululemon sale items are final sale, so you need to know your size)!
How To Wear
First up in my Lululemon Define jacket review is how to wear it! This jacket is a great piece to throw on casually! It’s not super thick, but it’s tight enough on the body if you want to layer with a thick coat in the winter. Since it is very fitted, I think this jacket looks best with a sleeveless top under. Otherwise, the sleeve can bunch under the Define jacket sleeve. I wear this mostly with leggings and tanks (check out my Wunder Train legging review here). The cropped version would be adorable with a skort! I plan on getting the cropped version when they come out with a color I like.
Where To Wear
I love to wear my Define jacket casually to work from home, out to lunch, gym and errands. It is a sleek jacket, but definitely on the casual side, which fits my lifestyle. It’s also perfect for a warmer climate since it’s not super thick.
Define Jacket Sizing
I struggled to figure out what size to get because the reviews are all over the place. I ended up with a 6 as my best size, which is the same size I wear in Lululemon bras. Take the bra sizing quiz here to figure out your size. I would recommend getting the jacket in the same size as your bra since it is a tighter fitting jacket.
I love how the Pink Savannah Define jacket and Align tank look with my Scuba joggers in Pink Mist (size 4)! It also looks great with a simple pair of black leggings as well!
Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ (currently 116 lbs) and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms. I typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms and a size 6 in Lululemon bras/tops.

Is The Lululemon Define Jacket Worth It?
YES IT IS, but only if you’ll get enough use out of it! For me personally, it’s worth buying on sale if I love the color (however, the new crop version seems to be selling fast so I will buy that full price when I see a color I like). Note that these sell super fast when they get marked down, so you have to be quick to buy. I live in athleisure and am able to wear athleisure most of the time (i.e. work from home, errands, travel, brewery hopping, lunch, shopping, etc). For a lot of people, that just isn’t their vibe, and that is okay. Take an honest assessment of what you own and what you could pair the jacket with and decide if it’s worth it.
This jacket is super flattering and I would definitely buy it over and over again. I love how it looks unzipped and zipped too. The one I have is in the color Pink Savannah. I wore out to lunch with an Align tank in Pink Puff (size 8 – size up!) and Power Thru leggings in Mulled Wine (size 4).
