Lululemon Base Pace Tank Review

Today I am doing a Lululemon Base Pace tank review! This ribbed tank isn’t talked about enough and is totally underrated! Keep scrolling below for all the details!

The Base Pace tank comes in a regular version and a two toned version and ranges from $58 to $68. It is pricey, but it’s also something you can get marked down. I bought mine on discount (just know Lululemon sale items are for store credit only). 

How To Wear

First up in my Lululemon Base Pace tank review is how to wear it! I wear my Lululemon tanks with high rise workout bottoms, like leggings and shorts. This tank is more fitted, so I avoid wearing fitted tanks with biker shorts and prefer a loose short.

Where To Wear

These tanks are the perfect lightweight material that can withstand a heavy workout. I love wearing these casually and to cycle, HIIT, yoga, and any sort of cardio. They are also great athleisure pieces to wear casually. Below I am wearing my Butternut Brown tank with Strawberry Milkshake Hotty Hot shorts (see that review here) to a local bar!

Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ (currently 115 lbs) and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms. I typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms and a size 6 in Lululemon bras/tops.

Base Pace Tank Sizing

I am a 32C and wear a size 6 in Lululemon bras (take their sizing quiz here.). Normally, I tend to wear a 6 in a lot of Lululemon tops and tanks, and the 6 fits perfect in this tank. I wouldn’t size up in this unless you really wanted a looser fit. Below I am wearing a size 6 in Butternut Brown with Sonic Pink Speed Up shorts (see review here).

Is the Lululemon Base Pace Tank Worth it?

YES! These tanks are SO awesome for working out, and super flattering. They are worth it, but only on sale, in my opinion. I grabbed mine at a discount and am super happy with it! Just note that the good colors and popular sizes sell FAST once they are discounted.
