Today I am sharing my favorite Dunedin Florida restaurants! We have spent a lot of time in Dunedin this past year and it’s my favorite spot near Tampa. Dunedin is right on the water, is super walkable and has the best breweries. It is also never super crowded, unlike St. Pete and Clearwater.
I sort of put everything listed in order from my favorite to least favorite, so keep scrolling for it all!

My Favorite Dunedin Florida Restaurants
Dunn Baked is my all time favorite bakery ever!!! Everything she makes is incredible, especially the carrot cake. It’s a vegan bakery and I am not vegan but I actually like this stuff more than anything else I’ve tried.
Caracara is definitely my favorite food in Dunedin! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and am obsessed with it all. The wings, crab nachos, palm cakes, and short rib hash are out of this world! Below is a photo of the short rib hash.
Prohibition Kitchen is the best BBQ I’ve had in Florida, hands down! My favorites are the southern chicken sandwich and the ribs! The ribs are cooked to perfection!
Hopscotch Cafe is SO good! Definitely one of my top favorites after Caracara. The food is high quality and you will be craving it again after you leave! I personally love the salads and pizza.
The Black Pearl is the ultimate fancy date night spot. It’s a romantic interior and unbeatable service. The food is incredible and it’s perfect for a special occasion.
Sonder Social Club has some of the best cocktails I have ever tried! The bartenders can also craft up something different that isn’t on the menu as well. The atmosphere is super cute too!
If you are looking for gorgeous water views and an epic sunset, Bon Appetit is a must! The food is decent, but it’s well worth it for the views. There is a strip of seating outside along the side of the building called “sunset row” that is the best. We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary in Dunedin and stayed at the Best Western and the restaurant is right next to the hotel! The hotel isn’t the nicest in the world, but the location is amazing and unbeatable.
Notable Mentions
Tukro Coffee and Dunedin Coffee Company are the best coffee shops! If you have to pick one though, I like Tukro slightly more!
Hotdogs on Main has some pretty epic hotdogs! We love to go occasionally when we are craving one and they are out of this world!
Dunedin Brewery actually has pretty good food! We love the pretzel bites with queso.
Pisces Sushi is pretty decent sushi! Definitely not my favorite, but does the job if you’re craving sushi.
Scone Age is a super cute bakery. It’s definitely not as good as Dunn Baked, but it’s worth stopping by!
The Living Room On Main is a great casual spot. The food is not my favorite, but I do love the vibe and location there. We love the dumplings and deviled eggs there!
Wild Iris Cafe is a total tourist trap, but it’s a great location to grab some breakfast and a mimosa if you have a group of people.
Below are the views from Bon Appetit restaurant! We caught a gorgeous sunset on our anniversary!
