Me and Chad have been to Disney Springs 20+ times because we love the food there and the food sucks in Tampa! So today I am rounding up my top 4 favorite Disney Springs restaurants and sharing why I love them! Disney Springs is like the “downtown” of Disney and is free to enter. It’s a great place to spend evenings if you are visiting Disney or in Orlando.
I have quite a few blog posts on Disney and Universal. Check out my post here for a comparison between the two and all things Universal related. Read more about what I wore to Universal here and Disney here.
If you are traveling specifically for Disney Springs, the Marriott and Wyndham are walkable! Disney Springs is quite large, so I always wear some comfy sandals or sneakers.
My top 4 favorite Disney Springs restaurants in order are: Boathouse, Morimoto Asia, Wine Bar George and Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. I highly recommend making a reservation for any of these because it’s usually packed and the wait will be over an hour for a walk in (most of the time).
Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms.
Boathouse
Boathouse is my top favorite because of the gorgeous view and outdoor seating! It is also the most kid friendly if you have kids. The lake view is gorgeous and sitting outside really makes you feel like you’re on vacation. The lobster roll and truffle fries are my favorite thing on the menu and Chad loves the club sandwich.
Morimoto Asia
Morimoto Asia is second on my list because we LOVE the food! This is not as kid friendly as Boathouse and a little more dressy. Now, I would never visit a restaurant below 4 stars on Yelp (Yelp is my go to for picking out restaurants because the ratings are more discerning than Google and Trip Advisor) but my husband convinced me to try it out. The food is phenomenal so I was trying to under why it’s only 3.5 stars on Yelp. I think a lot of the crowd visiting Disney Springs are families with kids and I saw a lot of low reviews for the small portion sizes here. Other’s other rated low because they said this location is not as good as the other Morimoto locations.
Below are photos of the lettuce wraps and orange chicken. The orange chicken is the best I’ve ever had! Their dumplings are also phenomenal. The only thing I would skip is the sushi because in my opinion it’s overpriced for what you get.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is the best spot for brunch and their drinks are amazing! It is also pretty kid friendly. If you go make sure you order an Orange Crush, my favorite drink there!
Wine Bar George
Wine Bar George is the best date spot! I would say this is the least kid friendly of the 4. The ambience and food is all incredible!
