Today I want to talk about my favorite breweries in Dunedin Florida! Chad and I love craft beer and after nearly 3 years of living in Tampa, we finally discovered Dunedin! Dunedin is the place we had been seeking this entire time since moving to Tampa. Tampa, St Pete and Clearwater never quite felt like our spot and I am so happy we finally found a place that feels like “us”. Dunedin is the CUTEST town with a ton of breweries and it is all walkable. The various craft breweries remind me of when I lived in Asheville, NC and the walking trail that connects everything (Pinellas Trail) feels like the Beltline in Atlanta – the best of both worlds.
My favorite part of Dunedin is that it’s never that crowded! Clearwater and St Pete are always such a chore to go to because its touristy, crowded and parking is a pain. We have been out and about in Dunedin over a dozen times now and have never had to wait to get parking or a beer. The downtown is the cutest spot and there are some epic ocean views.
If you are looking for more things to do in Florida, check out my latest Naples guide here.
Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms.
My #1 spot of my favorite breweries in Dunedin Florida is Dunedin Brewery! We always start at Dunedin Brewery when we go out to Dunedin. Dunedin Brewery is the first stop since it’s by the parking garage and then we usually pick another 1-2 breweries after that. The number 1 reason why I love Dunedin Brewery is the pretzels lol! The soft pretzels with beer cheese queso are just so ridiculously good! Chad’s favorite part of Dunedin brewery is the obvious – the beer. The peach apricot beer is my favorite and his is the American IPA. The peach apricot beer is the perfect fruity beer for summer and it’s not too heavy!
The outdoor seating at Dunedin Brewery is dog friendly and there’s plenty of shade! There is a nice indoor area as well, and clean restrooms.
Next is Cueni Brewing, which is also near the parking garage and along Pinellas trail. Cueni’s owner is from Ohio, so by default I have to love this spot! I normally get the Pineapple beer when I go but tried a flight this past visit and was very into all the beers in my flight – orange, hazel porter, peanut butter porter, buzzed blonde and pickle. I didn’t think I would like the pickle beer, but it ended up being my favorite and I got a full size after that.
There is plenty of shade and several bike racks outside of Cueni and a very welcoming heavily air conditioned indoor seating area as well. The photo below with the umbrellas is a cute spot on the sidewalk when you walk from Dunedin Brewery to Cueni.

Woodwright has the best outdoor seating of them all! There is plenty of shade, and food! I love their blonde. I have yet to try the food, so I will have to report back.
HOB is a great place to stop right on the trail because they have a delicious pizza truck. They also have a spot to fill water, so we like to fill our water bottles here. It always seems like there’s tons of kids running around outside on the fake grass, so it must be the spot to go if you have young ones.

We like 7venth Sun, because right next door is the best little spot to eat called Hopscotch Cafe. And if you walk down the street a little and towards the ocean, it’s a beautiful walk to look at home alongs the water.
Soggy Bottom is a tiny bit off the path, but worth the 10 minute walk! They have great beer and I’d like to add the music inside is awesome. I see a lot of people ordering their beer and pizza deal, but I have yet to try the pizza.

Caledonia is the latest spot we have tried and is definitely worth the stop! The inside is really nice and they have food also. I will have to try that next time we go!

Thanks for sharing! I'm not much of a beer person, definitely prefer wine when I drink.
