Favorite August 2023 Purchases

Sharing my favorite August 2023 purchases today! This month was a mix of summer and fall because I realized I hadn’t bought any non-athletic shorts in a couple years! I don’t really have casual shorts that aren’t denim shorts and decided to grab some. Denim shorts are a little less popular this year and can be constricting, so I focused on comfy fabric ones.

Favorite August 2023 Purchases Notes:

1, 6 – Faux leather bottoms have been huge the last couple years, and I have noticed a lot of wide leg options this season! I grabbed this black and olive pair and they are super comfortable and look so flattering with heels. I can’t wait to wear these this fall and they fit true to size.

2, 4, 8 – I picked up some new classic Baublebar pieces this month. I especially love the skinny pave diamond hoops because they are so lightweight!

3 – These western style booties are perfect for summer and fall and are still a huge trend! I can’t wait to style them with dresses and they fit true to size.

5 – It’s a lot colder in the winter in Texas than Florida, so I decided to invest in a nice coat for this year. Last winter I had a couple casual jackets but nothing that could be dressed up, so I am glad I got this one! I got my normal size and it fits perfectly oversized.

7 – These knee high boots are the perfect color for end of summer outfits! I can’t wait to wear these with dresses and they fit true to size.

9, 16 – These new bangles are so cute for summer! I love that they are waterproof, so you can wear them for all your summer activities. I wear a size small in them.

10, 12, 13 – These new Kendra Scott pieces are beautiful classics that I can’t wait to wear!

11, 15, 18 – Boxer style shorts are trending right now and I am so happy! They look so cute with coastal grandmother type outfits. I can’t wait to pair with cardigans! I got my normal size in them.

14 – These double lined linen shorts are my first pair of linen shorts and I am so happy with them! I got my normal size.

17 – This sweater came back in stock in boys sizing, so I had to grab it! I got a boys large and it’s perfectly oversized.
