Fall 2018 Fashion Trends

I am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest trends and fall fashion is my absolute favorite! I wanted to do a roundup of my favorite Fall 2018 fashion trends! Below is a HUGE post with all my favorite trends and my favorite items for each!!

Here is my shortened list of fall 2018 fashion trends, scroll down for photos and my picks for each!

Colors: Mustard & Red

Prints: Camo, Leopard, Plaid & Stripes

Texture: Tweed, Faux Fur, Embellishments

Shoes: Mules, Shooties, Sock boots, Over The Knee Boots & Western Style Boots & Slouchy boots

Clothing: Turtlenecks, Pleats, Statement Sleeves, Destroyed denim

Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms.

Colors: Mustard & Red – Outfit #1

Color is a huge for fall 2018 fashion trends! Bright reds have replaced dark reds (although I will always be a huge burgundy fan) and yellow is here to stay! Red is also a super flattering color and looks great on everyone. It can take you from fall to the holiday season. Yellow was super hot this summer and you can definitely expect to see it more in the cooler weather as well.

One super chic way to wear mustard and red is by adding a fisherman’s cap in that color.

I am so excited I got to try and partner with Stitch Fix this month! I told them my preferences and that I love the mustard trend and they totally listened to me spot on!! This color makes me so happy, I could not be happier with this outfit! I also am pumped they sent me DL1921 denim because I have not tried it before, but it fits super well!

I have a mustard blouse that I wear all the time by Equipment. The color is gorgeous and it is a great layering piece for fall. I paired with my favorite BlankNYC jacket. Pro tip: Nordstrom Rack carries a ton of very, very discounted BlankNYC jackets if you are in the market for a great faux leather jacket.

I am a sucker for this fuzzy red sweater. I decided to make the look a little retro with the shoes and crop flares. A bright red sweater is a great piece to pair with denim and skirts.

The next fall 2018 fashion trends I will cover are prints! Camo and leopard has been going strong this year, so expect it to stay around this fall. I love leopard accessories (mules, belts, scarves) and camo everything!

This leopard scarf has been in my closet for a long time. It something I continually bring out each fall. If you don’t have a leopard scarf, I highly recommend you get one!

I teamed up with Express to share a denim look from their Factory Outlet. When I saw this camo shirt, I knew I had to have it. You can also wear a camo button up un-buttoned as a layering piece too!

This mesh pleated skirt is so romantic! I paired with a cozy, casual sweater to tone down the dressiness of the skirt.
