Just got back from a Charleston weekend trip and I spent so much time looking up great spots, so I am going to leave my favorites below! I haven’t been to Charleston in over 10 years!! I used to go quite often when I lived in South Carolina and North Carolina but haven’t since. It felt great to get back and honestly it felt like my first time since it had been so long and I barely remembered where I went last time.
If you want some more trip ideas, check out my post on my Southeast vacation here.
We stayed at Planters Inn and I highly recommend it! It’s in the middle of everything, yet it was so quiet in our room. The air conditioning was the coldest hotel AC I’ve ever experienced. I swear you can set the room to 60 in hotel rooms and they never get below 69. There is valet parking and also a garage nearby if you choose not to valet. The rooms were gorgeous, bathrooms spacious and it was so lovely. When we arrived we found a half bottle of prosecco chilling for us and it was amazing to sip while getting ready to go out. My favorite part is that they turn down the room for you in the evening. Every evening we would get back to the room and the lamps were lit and our bed was ready for the evening.
I wore this outfit on our travel day and it was super comfy! My top is my normal size 6 and the color is Pink Haze. My shorts are fleece lined and amazing and I sized up to a medium.
Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms.

167 Raw Oyster Bar was probably my favorite meal of our Charleston weekend trip! The mahi mahi tacos and lobster roll were insanely good and I want to go back just for this meal. The host told us the wait time for dinner the night before was nearly 4 hours (they don’t take reservations) so I am happy we got there right after it opened. We got there for lunch about 30 minutes after it opened and we waited about 25 minutes for a table.
My second favorite spot of the trip was Babas on Cannon. We went there for coffee and breakfast 2 days in a row. The iced latte was the best I’ve ever had maybe. The breakfast tacos and avocado toast were amazing. Warning, the line can be a little long but it’s worth it.
I wore this comfy outfit to get coffee and love this color combo! My tee is my normal size 6 in the color Pink Haze (see my full review here) and my shorts are my normal size XS.

We ate dinner at Sorelle the first night and it was lovely! The Arancini was my favorite thing we got!
I love lobster rolls, so I had to try one at The Darling. It was such a cute spot, but it fills up quick so I recommend getting there right after they open. I liked the lobster roll at 167 better, but this was still amazing!
I wore this outfit to dinner and it was so cute and comfy! My top and bottom are both size small.

Doar Bros has the best drinks, hands down and one of my favorite spots during our Charleston weekend trip! It’s such a cute spot to get drinks and small plates. The brown butter truffle popcorn with parmesan and chives on top was divine and I need to learn to make it. The bread pudding was out of this freaking world. I want to go back for that bread pudding.
I wore this outfit out to drinks and dinner the first night and I felt so chic in all navy! My sweater is a small and my skort is a 4.

The Veranda Lounge was my second favorite spot for drinks. The decor was adorable and the drinks were really high quality. I would try staying at this hotel next time because it looked really cute!
Little Palm was a really aesthetic spot for drinks during the day. Other than the decor and people watching, the drinks weren’t that great and the service was a bit slow. It was definitely worth stopping at though and I would still go back!
I wore this outfit out walking around and it was the perfect warm day outfit because it was so light. My tee is a size 6 and my skort is a 4 (see full review here).
