Happy Sunday! I am happy to announce that today is the first day of the year I can go to the pool! It is sunny and almost 80 degrees. I can hardly wait to get out there and indulge in some vitamin D. I don’t know how last year I was at the pool in February. This weather is CRAY. I wanted to share my outfit today AND my Atlanta food favorites! Atlanta is a huge hub and I love going out to eat!
Atlanta also has my favorite food of all the places I have lived (Cleveland OH, Columbus OH, Sumpter SC (middle of f-in nowhere), Newport News VA, Raleigh NC, Asheville NC). Keep scrolling to read all my Atlanta food favorites!

Sizing reference: I am 5’4″ and typically XS in tops and 25 in bottoms.
Ponce City Market
If you have never been to Ponce City Market and are in town, it is my number one recommendation to anyone! It is seriously the best place in the world. It’s an old converted Sears headquarters from almost 100 years ago and is such a magical place! I live 1.4 miles away and often walk there on the Beltline. In fact, most of my photos are taken there (including these in this post). It’s a very instagrammable spot with tons of shops, bars and restaurants. Their rooftop is supposed to be amazing. We haven’t gone up on the roof yet because you have to pay and the weather has been crap. We are saving a rooftop visit for a beautiful day to make it worth while.
Bellina is an Italian spot inside Ponce and it’s our favorite Italian in Atlanta because it’s super affordable and they make their own pasta every single day.
You’ll often find me indulging in Brezza’s amazing pizza and rosemary moscow mule. It is a must try!
King of Pops has the best cocktails ever. I love their rosé slushy! And who doesn’t love a popsicle in their prosecco!?
Tap on Ponce has wine and beer on draft (that’s where I got the wine from in these photos). I love grabbing some wine then going shopping!
You’ll often see me with delicious macarons in my Instagram stories. I get them here at Saint Germain!
I love the Mercury for cocktails. Their bar is gorgeous and located on the second floor. They also have bottomless mimosa brunch on the weekend!
Last but not least, I LOVE Ton Ton ramen!!! Get the classic bowl and you will thank yourself! It is the best ramen I have ever had hands down. Ultimate comfort food!!
Inman Park
Sweet Cheats is where we got our wedding cake! Their cupcakes are incredible and don’t even get me started on the cake pops!
Sotto Sotto has been named one of the top Italian spots in the country! It is my favorite Italian, but it’s on the pricey side so it’s not an every day type of place to visit. Make sure you make reservations far in advance because it books fast!
Mf Sushi is my favorite sushi in Atlanta. A lot of people rave about Umi sushi in Buckhead and I don’t understand the hype. We spent nearly $200 at Umi and for the same quality you can spend $100 at MF. Make sure you get the avocado ball!! It has a truffle foam on top and is SO good!
Miso is also great sushi but way less expensive. It books quick, so definitely make that reservation!
Barcelona Wine Bar is my favorite place to bring out of town guests. Their cozy fire pits and sangria pitchers keep me coming back!
Bread and Butterfly is my favorite brunch spot! Their avocado toast makes a lot of appearances in my Instagram stories because I am totally addicted! During the evenings they have live French music and amazing outdoor seating.
Krog Street Market
Krog Street Market is like a mini Ponce City Market. I live a stone throw away so I am ALWAYS at Krog!!! When we moved here almost 3 years ago, Krog and Ponce were just getting built. It’s amazing to see the progress and how much it’s added to the area. Places like this make Atlanta such a unique and special city. I will always love this city so much because of these type of amenities.
Jeni’s Ice Cream is the best ice cream in the world HANDS DOWN. There were only 2 Jeni’s back when I was in college and they were both near Ohio State. I have fond memories of going to Jeni’s as a special treat after finals. When I moved to Virginia, Jeni’s started distributing to some grocery stores and I was thrilled to have my beloved Jeni’s in VA. The business started expanding and now there are a few shops in Atlanta, which makes me one happy person!
Superica is amazing Mexican food and my favorite Mexican in Atlanta! I love all of the owner’s restaurants (Ford Fry). He lived in Texas and decided Atlanta needed some real Mexican – and then Superica was born. Their (free) homemade salsas are to die for. My tip is to get the fajitas and split them! The buttery shells and whipped garlic butter that come with are the best thing ever.
Ticonderoga Club is my go to for an amazing cocktail! It has this amazing dim lit vibe and has amazing quality food and drinks.
Richard’s is my favorite fried chicken in the world! I love the hottest (Richards hot) spice level. Their sandwich also has an amazing pimento cheese spread. Okay totally craving one now!
Varuni Napoli is one of my go-to’s for pizza! I love their Oro Bianco pizza, it’s my favorite white sauce pizza eveeeerr!
Yalla is a dream come true for mediterranean lovers. I adore their hummus because they put crunchy chickpeas in there and it’s the best combo!
West Midtown
Upbeet is a new one that has addicting healthy options! Great spot too if you are GF or vegan!
Cooks and Soldiers has an awesome patio and amazing tapas!
Antigos Pizza is an ATL staple for pizza. Located near GA Tech campus, it’s always a busy spot, but it’s so worth it.
West Egg has my favorite banana bread french toast!
JCT Kitchen is a cute spot with an awesome lounge patio area. I love their avocado and shrimp salad!
Buckhead
True Food Kitchen is my favorite chain ever. They are in most large cities and their ancient grain bowl always has me craving a visit! They have the most flavorful healthy menu I have ever come across!
I have recently decided that King & Duke is my favorite food period and my number one of all my Atlanta food favorites. It might be their croissant like rolls that arrive when you are seated or their sticky toffee pudding that has me constantly craving this place. Literally just made a reservation for next weekend thinking about their food!
